Solar Panel and Battery Storage

The Memorial Hall has undergone some changes during February and March 2024.  26 new solar panels and 4 storage batteries have been fitted.   This will reduce the cost of energy at the hall which, as everywhere, has seen a big increase over the last 18 months.  It will also reduce the carbon footprint of the hall and enable us to use the energy produced by the solar panels and stored in the batteries as an when needed.

In order to carry out this work the committee have managed to secure a Rural Fund grant from Wychavon District Council which will cover a large percentage of the cost of this work.
